Saving

There are different ways you can save your arrangements in Audiotool:

  • Save Draft - Drafts are your “work in progress” arrangements, they can not be listened to from your homepage and they are visible only to you.
  • Save As Template - Under File/Save As Template you are able to save your Audiotool arrangement as a template. You can also save a template as public so that other users as well as yourself can open it and use it as a springboard to create new tracks. You can only make templates from your own arrangements and from arrangements that have not yet been published.
  • Save As Remix - You can create a remix of one of your own tracks or of a track from another user (depending on the license they specify) Remixes can only be created from tracks that have been published. Once you have created a remix you will be able to find it saved to your drafts section.
  • Publish - Publishing will make your track public so that it can be listened to, linked and embedded as well as remixed and downloaded (depending on the license you specify). Once a track has been published a copy draft of your published track will be created and saved to your drafts section so that further versions of the track can be created without having to make a remix.
